There are two legal entities that make up Pamoja, one in the UK and one in Kenya.

Pamoja in the UK

Pamoja in the UK is a registered charity, number 1085466. Details of the registration can be found on the Charity Commissions web site. The UK charity is administered by the UK Trustees. The main roles of the UK charity are:

• to fund raise,
• manage communication with sponsors,
• manage funds from donors,
• decide on major areas of expenditure,
• decide on policies for the work and
• to support the work in Kenya

Pamoja in Kenya

Pamoja in Kenya is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO). The Kenyan NGO is administered by the Kenyan Trustees. The main roles of the Kenyan NGO are:

• to run the education sponsorship programmes,
• to run the care centres,
• to run the relief and micro loan programmes
• to manage other Pamoja projects
